B.Tech Information technology is an UG academic degree that generally requires 4 years of study. This majorly focuses on the technology growth in the computer hardware and software. It is different from the normal computer science which deals with the management and information science of the software. It requires a little mathematics and a huge logics to understand. The main variation with Computer Science is that it(Computer Science) deals with the scientific aspects but the IT deals with the business and communication application too.
In India it is a 4-years course divided into 8 semesters and once completed the students are awarded with the course completion certificate. The certificate is conferred by Government or Private Institution. Information Technology is considered one of the Professional Course.
